More Good Trouble

MKEA has been provided with so many opportunities already this year to sponsor, collaborate and participate in making MORE GOOD TROUBLE to ensure that “He pala Mauna a Wākea i luna” - that Mauna Kea is the sealant that rises above and unifies us together as one.

From ceremony to ceremony, MKEA adorned the mauna before setting off to California to present the No Construction of the TMT on Mauna Kea Petition to one of TMT’s biggest funders in the US. Then in July, kiaʻi gathered at Puʻuhuluhulu to celebrate the mauna with the Royal Order of Kamehameha I. Mahalo to all who participated and the many hands that helped put it together!

Manaʻo from Leinaʻala on MKEA’s travels to California in June.

Please consider donating and sharing the GoFundMe to kōkua Leinaʻala Sleightholm and her ʻohana as they face the aftermath of a devastating house fire that claimed all of their belongings and essential work supplies and tools.
