Water Is Life

Sing, feed and honor. Yes we did ❤️And yes, we will continue to do so. Yesterday was a beautiful rainy day and I got to be in my kitchen putting together these traditional foods. Looking down at my hands as I sliced, peeled and pulled the tortillas out of the fire with my hands I thought about the blessings my ancestors passed down to me ~ grateful. Humble food offering for the tree in my yard who always comforts me with shade, a place to pray, and such peace. A perfect night under Grandmother Moon’s light and a sacred fire keeping me warm. Aunty Ladonna always knows how to bring us together to heal the world. Praying for her healing.
