Merrie Monarch on the Mauna
This Merrie Monarch week we look back at 10 years ago to the start of the collective stance to protect the mauna from the building of the TMT, and the hālau who came to stand and danced with us on the mauna. The work to protect our ʻāina goes on and so does the celebration of our culture and our people. Join us at the Palace Theater for Hilo Aloha today! March in the parade for Aloha ʻĀina on Saturday and meet us at the puʻu on Sunday.
